Current outage for some clients

This issue is now resolved and all services should be back up and running.

We are currently experiencing problems with one of our servers which is affecting several of our clients' sites and mail services. We are working on the problem, hopefully the server will be back up very soon and we will have some more information about the problem. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Update (13/01/2009 - 00:20): the server has been unable to boot after several attempts. Disk checks, diagnostics and logs haven't shown much so far - we were unable to get the machine responding. We are now currently re-installing the OS and rebuilding our services for clients using this server. We expect it to be back online within the next few hours.

Update (13/01/2009 - 01:18): currently uploading backups.

Update (13/01/2009 - 04:40): services should be ready; uploading backups, client mailboxes and site databases; we should have life once the files are restored.

Update (13/01/2009 - 07:32): most client sites are back now, but we are still waiting on some large mail backups to complete upload before we can re-enable mail services. Almost there.

Update (13/02/2009 - 14:16): all of our clients' sites hosted on this machine are back on-line. Mail services are being held up by the upload of a rather large mail directory. We are working on getting individual client mail services back on-line now.
